Il finale di questo brano venne esteso tecnicamente di un verso per ottenere un running time accettabile.
Infatti, se guardiamo nell’album “Double trouble” dove fa il suo esordio su 33 giri come bonus song, la sua durata è di 2’10”.
Inoltre nell’extended play francese “Elvis Presley” (86508) “Blue River” venne riversata sul vinile con una velocità inferiore tanto che la canzone risultava più lunga di quattro secondi.
