Si tratta di un bellissimo concerto che gode, oltre di un Elvis in grande forma, di una tracklist davvero inusuale con rarità assolute come “Turn Around, Look At Me” e “Shake A Hand”.
Dalla traccia 15 alla 25 sono bonus davvero interessanti, registrate dal vivo il 22 ed il 24 luglio sempre ad Asheville; anche qui ascoltiamo gemme rare come un’altra versione di “Shake a hand” preceduta da una falsa partenza, “Memphis, Tennessee”, un’inusualissima “Something” in quanto fuori scaletta da anni, una rara “Return to sender”, un’altra perla quale “Wooden heart”, ancora “Shake a hand” e l’unica versione live esistente di “Pieces of my life”.
Il suono è simile al CD del 1997, nonostante gli annunci dichiarassero il ritrovamento di un nastro di qualità superiore, ma il suond è molto godibile, comunque.
Un CD da avere assolutamente !!!
