STORIA DELLA CANZONE: questa canzone fu registrata per la prima volta nel 1968 da parte di Charlie Louvin per il suo secondo album “Hey daddy”, pubblicato nel dicembre dello stesso anno per la Capitol.
Il copyright di questo brano, però, è datato 1965 quindi potrebbero esistere altre incisioni antecedenti a questa.
Alla fine del 1970, sia Mills Brothers che Tex Williams registrarono “It ain’t no big thing”; le loro esecuzioni raggiunsero, rispettivamente, il 64° ed il 50° posto della classifica Country americana.
