Elvis reincise “Trouble” per il suo TV Special del 1968. La registrazione avvenne a Burbank, California, negli studi Western Recorders, il 21 e 22 giugno 1968.
L’incisione del 21 giugno ha come numero di master WPA1-8030 e fu scelta la take numero 6 per il master. Questa è l’esecuzione che Elvis canta alla fine del TV Special in medley con “Guitar man”.
La versione incisa il 22 giugno ha lo stesso numero di master della precedente e fu scelta la take numero 21 per il master. Questa è la versione che Elvis canta all’inizio del TV Special in medley con “Guitar man”.
