STORIA DELLA CANZONE: “There goes my everything” venne composta da Dallas Frazier nel 1965.
Jack Greene la portò in vetta alla classifica Country di Billboard due anni dopo ricevendo addirittura il premio da parte della Country Music Association come miglior singolo dell’anno; fu premiato per la composizione di questo brano anche lo stesso Dallas Frazier col premio CMA.
Nel 1967 anche il gruppo degli Englebert Humperdinck ebbe un ottimo successo con una loro versione di “There goes my everything” tanto che vendettero oltre un milione di copie e portarono la canzone al 20° posto della Hot 100 ed al 13° in Australia.
