NOTE: altro CD soundboard della Fort Baxter che, per la prima volta, ci offre la possibilità di ascoltare il bellissimo spettacolo del 20 marzo 1974 a Memphis, edito a suo tempo dala RCA in “Elvis recorded live on stage in Memphis“ ma in forma incompleta.
La casa “madre” all’epoca tagliò parecchi dialoghi, la presentazione della band e le canzoni “All Shook Up”, “Steamroller Blues”, “Teddy Bear/Don’t Be Cruel”, “Love Me Tender”, “Fever”, “Polk Salad Annie” e “Suspicious minds”. Molto probabilmente questo scempio avvenne per fare stare tutto su un solo disco.
La Fort Baxter ha pubblicato questo bootleg in un cardboard sleeve (cartoncino) e non nel classico jewel case trasparente.
Esiste anche una ristampa del 1995 (in jewel case)con la back cover bianca e non rossa ma soprattutto con un grossolano errore sul dischetto poiché c’è scritto che il CD s’intitola “If you talk in your sleep”, un altro bootleg della Fort Baxter !
Questo concerto sarà poi riproposto dalla FTD in resa sonora perfetta nel CD del 2004 “Elvis recorded live on stage in Memphis“ (8287660987-2).
