Edizione formato 7 pollici triple fold out cover con libretto allegato che tratta la colonna sonora di Kid Galahad registrata da Elvis negli studi Radio Recorders di Hollywood nell’ottobre del 1961.
La RCA pubblicò questa soundtrack nel 1962 solo su extended play.

Eccoci alla colonna sonora eseguita da Elvis in un’inedita versione pugile.
King of the whole wide world, This is living, Riding the rainbow, Home is where the hearth is, I got lucky e A whistling tune sono le canzoni, tutte molto leggere, che la compongono.
King of the whole wide word è il tipico rock senza pretese che comunque all’ascolto risulta molto piacevole. In evidenza il sax del sempre ottimo Boots Randolph. È la canzone più presente in tutto il CD, con ben 17 versioni.
This is living e Riding the rainbow, sono le altre due canzoni molto allegre. Anche in questo caso, diverse versioni alternative presenti per ciascuna.
Passiamo adesso ad una ballata. Molto bella a mio parere è Home is where the heart is che riesce a creare un’atmosfera particolare, grazie anche al supporto della chitarra, specialmente nella parte iniziale della canzone. Presenti ben 8 versioni alternative.
I got lucky è un piacevole twist del quale sono presenti in questo CD due versioni alternative.
A whistling tune è il brano già inciso per “Follow that dream” ed in seguito scartato. Per questa occasione Elvis ne reincide una versione più lenta.
Da notare che alla fine del disco ritroviamo in ordine tutti i sei masters della colonna sonora in versione stereo così come vennero originariamente pubblicati nella serie “Double Features” nel 1993.
